PASTOR DON SKELTON
Bold and courageous he walks as a powerful man of God and is known as the man who has “Good Gospel News.” Pastor Don gave his life to Christ in 1993 at First Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville Tenn. Under the leadership of Rev. Robert Harris. In the latter part of 1994, he answered the call of God in that of ministering the Word of God. He preached his first message of the Word of God at First Missionary Baptist Church and there was installed as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 1995, he relocated to Fayetteville N.C. While seeking God for local church membership in his new location, he attended Carolina Bible College where he furthered his studies in theology. He visited many churches in Fayetteville and finally established membership at Power House of Love and Faith that same year. Several months after establishing membership, he was ordained and issued a license as a minister of Power House of Love and Faith. In addition to his ministerial duties, he joined the usher board and male chorus. He later took on the assignment of assistant Bible study teacher and soon after; lead teacher.
Pastor Don believe in speaking those things which are not as though they were, speaking the unadulterated Word of truth without compromise. He’s a blessing to the community in the way of going after the hearts of young folk reaching out in areas of their personal life and encouraging them to be all they can be as God has gifted them to be.
Pastor Don was ordained on Oct. 3rd, 2010 as Pastor to work along with his wife Senior Pastor Cheryl in the ministry of Power House of Love and Faith. Together they are leading a growing congregation into new dimensions in God. His boldness and courage is a great asset to the ministry because he exemplifies no fear when it comes to situations that seem impossible to man. He strongly believes that preaching the Gospel news under the anointing and power of God will transform lives and bring souls back to God.
